Sequatchie County hires Ken Colqutte

Sequatchie County High School has hired Ken Colquette as the new head coach to lead the Indians football program. Colquette, Has been a legend in Sequatchie Valley football since he took over at Marion County in 1980 and led the Warriors to (4) State Championships from 1990-1995 and 2-state runner-up appearances in the late 80's. He has been retired from head coaching since 2006 when he stepped down from coaching at Grundy County to be principle. He has since been an assistant coach at several area schools. He coached receivers at Ooltewah last fall.
Colquette, 65 brings with him an eye popping (249-81) Career record including the (4) State Titles while in Jasper.
