The Sequatchie County Indians looked good in there final scrimmage on Tuesday evening as the Indians get ready to host Friday nights annual Sequatchie Valley Jamboree. The Indians looked dominate at times marching up and down the field despite only ending the night with a 2-2 (touchdown) tie however had it been a real game with real scores the Indians would likely have won as Senior kicker Juan Martinez looked sharp connecting on all of his PAT attempts. The Indians JV also looked good winning there part of the scrimmage with a 1-0 score. Despite playing extremely well against 6A school the Indians left enough for Coach Barger and his staff to work on including a couple of fumbles and several pass drops including a likely touchdown pass of close to 65 yards. The Indians also had the ball inside the 10 yard line and failed to pick up a first down in short yardage.

QB Eli Stout lets fly on the deep ball!

Some of the good.. QB Eli Stout - I thought looked really good running the offense and had several nice throws that should have been caught. Offensive Line - They opened a number of holes for the running backs to squirt through and get into the Coffee defensive backfield. Running game - It appears that Indians have found a number of solid runners to take some of the pressure off of Indians Senior "Mr. 1,200" Jerry Fain. Defense - Overall solid. Coffee wasn't able to get anything easy. Needs work... Receivers - A number of dropped passes by the wide-outs. Defense - While solid a number of iffy penalties lead Coffee Co. into scoring opportunities.
