The TSSAA Board of Control voted to select Cookeville as the host of the 2009 and 2010 BlueCross Bowl Football Championships.

The TSSAA has decided at the BOC Meeting to raise Playoff Football game tickets from $7.00 to $8.00.
Also voted to raise individual ticket prices in sectional contests in basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, soccer, and track from $6.00 to $7.00
All TSSAA championship events, other than football finals and state basketball finals which have already been set at $12,will be raised to $10
