Indians move to 2-0 on the season.

Sequatchie County goes to 2-0 on the year!!

Indians win 16-13 on a 30 yard kick by "Lupe" Martinez with 4.7 seconds left.

Sequatchie got the night off on the right foot with a 6 yard touchdown run by (senior) Brandon Ashby. The PAT was good by (junior) kicker Jose' Martinez and the Indians lead 7-0 after one quarter.

Sequatchie scored again in the 2nd on about a 5 to 10 yard out pass from (junior) Quarterback Brennon Wilson to (junior) running back Brandon Dykes who turns it up field and after some nice moves and around 45 yards later walks into the end zone to put the Indians up 13-0 the snap for the extra point attempt was bad and holder Ashby had to fall on it. So the Indians go into the half leading 13-0. In the second half Cannon Co. comes back after a fumble on the Indians 2nd or 3rd play from scrimmage is picked up and ran into the end zone from around 30 yards out to cut the lead to 13-7. Cannon again drives the field and goes for it on 4th down from around the 4 yard line to tie it at 13-13. The PAT attempt is blocked by the Indians (Ashby, I think made the play.) The Indians had the ball driving in the 4th quarter but fumbled it around the 5-10 yard line but Cannon Co. couldn't do anything with it so the Lions had to punt the ball with a little over a minute and half remaining and the Indians return the punt around 40 yards. Three runs later and it sets up Martinez in the middle of the field for the game winning kick.

Most of this was from memory I apologize if some of its incorrect. It was so exciting I forgot to write it down.
