BRAVES ARE SVC CHAMPIONS!!

Saturday October 12, 2012 The Sequatchie County Middle School Braves finished off the 2012 season last night. It ended the way they expected it to end when they kicked off the season in McMinnville on August 14th as CHAMPIONS!! The Braves defeated the Pirates of South Pittsburg Academy last night to win the SVC Championship (26-14) the Braves led 20-0 at the half. SPA cut it to 20-6 early in the third but on the ensuing kickoff SCMS 8th grader Micheal Meader took the kickoff around 65 yards for the score to make sure that the Pirates didn't capitalize on the momentum from there score. SPA scored a late 4th quarter touchdown to get to the final score.
