The Tigers of Meigs County like the Indians enter the game with a (0-1) record to start the season losing on the road in Baxter, TN to Upperman 48-19 a team Sequatchie Co. scrimmaged earlier this month during the Annual Quarterback Club BBQ/Scrimmage.  The Tigers managed to slip into the playoffs despite a (5-5) record last season finishing 4th in 5AA.  They ended up losing in the first round of the playoffs to Bledsoe County 44-25.   They are projected to finish 3rd in the district this season.
The Tigers are coached by Ricky Holliday in his second year.
