Signal Mountain High School is a public School located on Sam Powell Drive  in the town of Signal Mountain in Hamilton County.

2010 Season Record - (14-0) Class 2A State Champions

Last Game: Signal Mountain beat Chattanooga Christian (76-35) on October 14th.


I think everyone knows everything about this game by now but one side note a Indians win coupled with a CCS win over Bledsoe County would give Sequatchie County the District Title if not the Indians finish second.  They will wait like everyone else until Saturday morning to see if they will be hosting or traveling next Friday night.  In the first round of the 2011 TSSAA Football Playoffs.

We however would like to congratulate the 2011 Sequatchie County Indians Seniors on a great season and career at SCHS.  They helped return the Indians program to the respectability & tradition its expected to have.  In there Freshmen season (2008) they helped send Sequatchie County to the playoffs for the first time since 2005 and a (6-5) record the Indians first winning season since 2000.

In there Sophomore season they had another winning season at (6-5) which allowed them to host Sequatchie County's first playoff game since 1996 but the 21-14 win in Jasper marked the Indians first win over the Warriors since 1990.

Last season in there Junior year they went (8-5), SCHS's best record since 1996.  They notched there second win in a row over Marion County with a (31-08) score and advanced to the second round of the state playoffs for the first time since 1997 thanks to a first round  (35-34) overtime win in Pikeville over Bledsoe County.

While this season has yet to be concluded hopefully the Indians have several more games left to make not only memories but there mark on the history of Sequatchie County Football.  One thing is for sure they made it three straight over Marion County with a (49-2) score perhaps the Indians largest margin of victory over the Warriors in the series.
