Grundy County High School is located in Coalmont, TN.

2010 Season Record - (6-5)

Last Game: Grundy County lost 43-07 at South Pittsburg.


The Grundy County Yellow Jackets come to Sequatchie County (1-1) on the young season. Thanks to a (21-06) win over Marion County in Week zero.  Grundy County's first win over the Warriors since 2002.  They however came back down to earth last week at South Pittsburg losing to the Pirates (43-07). The Yellow Jackets are coached by Jacket star Nick Bryant in his 3rd year (12-12).

Grundy County is lead by Johnny Cook (5-10, 190).  He rushed for over 1,000 yards last season and had 230 yards on 30 carries in the opener over MCHS but was relegated to just 14 carries for 58 yards against the Pirates.  He is also the leader on defense for Grundy at linebacker.   Keep an eye out for Offensive & Defensive lineman Austin Fults (6-3, 320) as well.
