Marion County comes into the game after a big win on the road at Grundy County (32-12). Marion County enters the game (3-0) after opening the season with a win on the road at Cumberland County (38-3) and at home against Bledsoe County (21-6).

This is no longer a region game as the Warriors are now in District 6-A
