News & Rumors UPDATE
Going back to the end of January I got the news that the team had around 80-90 kids lifting weights in the off season program this of course was counting incoming freshmen (8th graders) and that workouts was going good.
The team should have around 60 give or take for spring practice. (Incoming Freshmen are not allowed to compete in spring practice.)
Spring Practice is currently scheduled to start May 11th
I have heard there will probably be a spring scrimmage on May 15th hosting Cannon County.
This likely want happen now as Cannon County has fired there head coach.
It appears we are looking for someone to scrimmage on one of the following dates May 15 , 21st or 23rd.

I also hope the team has another Purple and Gold Game like they did last spring as I think the kids really liked that.
The middle school now has a new head football coach and its non other than longtime Braves assistant Tim White he will be assisted by Terry Dishman.
I have also heard that some 50-60 are interested in playing for the Braves program this fall.
