The Sequatchie County Indians coming off an overall good scrimmage at Lookout Valley last week now head up to Smithville on Friday evening to take on the Dekalb County Tigers in a scrimmage beginning at 6:30 PM.
The Tigers who are a 3A team is coming off a (2-8) season and is once again projected to finish 6th of seven teams in Region 4-3A.
Despite the record Dekalb has an outstanding Junior QB who was All-Region and threw for over 1,600+ yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
This should be a good test for the Indians as they begin to finish up their preseason schedule with the QB Club's annual BBQ & Scrimmage next Tuesday August 12th against Grundy County and next Friday brings the preseason schedule to a close with the annual Sequachee Valleey Jamboree at Whitwell.
