East Literature is magnet school in East Nashville, which opened in 1993, the school has not fielded a football program since it was known as East High prior to that school’s closing in the 1980s.

They have around 60-70 players on roster that features players from 9th through 12th grade. East Literature has had an athletic co-op where students wanting to play football would play for Stratford High School (Reg. 5-4A), 2007 record (1-9).

They are playing a mix of Varsity and Junior Varsity games. The game with Sequatchie Co. is one of the few varsity games they will be playing this season.

They won there first game during Week 0, over Nashville's newest metro school Cane Ridge High School by a score of (46-6) in what was a JV game for both teams. Cane Ridge which just opened this fall only has players in 9th & 10th grade.
