The Sequatchie County Middle School Braves kicked off there 2008 season tonight hosting what is probably one of the best middle school teams in the area the Pirates of South Pittsburg Middle and watching the game you see how the SPHS Pirates team stays so good. The middle school Pirates has the size, speed and more speed.
The Pirates jumped out early and it was over in route to a 44-0 win over SCMS. The Braves opening the season against probably the most talented team they will face just didn't have an answer for the overall size and speed of the Pirates players.

The Braves do have some size on both sides of line and should continue to get better every week.
