Indians look dominate in final scrimmage!

Will the real Sequatchie County Indians please stand up??

Tonight it looked like a completely different team wearing the purple & gold for Sequatchie County as they dominated both sides of the ball in there final scrimmage of fall season against visiting Grundy County & Sunbright high school of Morgan Co. in the QB Club's annual barbecue and scrimmage.

It was hard to keep track because of the alternating format used during the scrimmage but I think the Indians had the ball seven times during varsity action (starters) scoring if I recall five of those times and at least twice on both teams.

The defense looked outstanding especially the Defensive line getting pressure in the back field and recording several sacks.

The offense was really clicking as well as Quarterback Brennon Wilson continues to take control of the offense he had a couple of runs that looked good. He also has some nice weapons to go along with him in the backfield is a host of Indian tailbacks including Bartley, Dykes & Swafford who as well as others had a very good night carrying the ball.

Next up is the Sequatchie Valley Jamboree at Whitwell on Friday against Grundy County and Signal Mountain as the Eagles make there valley jamboree debut!
